Electrical Design Engineer - Photovoltaic (m/f/d)

Our client is a highly successful company in photovoltaic (headquarter in Austria) and develops, realises, finances and manages globally alternative investments in the strong photovoltaic growth sector, creating a sustainable value creation. In one of the divers international locations - in this case in Bucharest / Romania the following position is available:
YOUR JOB:
  • Responsible for the design of company’s projects.
  • Work closely with the project management team and check the projects design, prepare, deliver and follow up the grid connection documentation to TSO/DSO, as per ANRE Order 51 Annex 6 and Annex 7.
  • Conduct site visits before and during construction to monitor construction progress, identify risks, and meet contractors.
  • Performing the selectivity studies, Protection coordination study, Short circuit, load flow analysis, reactive power compensation study and analysis, Anti-Island study.
  • Issuing Design Notes, Drafts, Specifications, Technical Specifications and Briefs, Progress Reports.
  • Designing electrical systems and circuits, including automation panels, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
  • Performing detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
YOUR COMPETENCES:
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or comparable studies.
  • Proficiency level of English and Romanian, German language is a plus.
  • Experience with electrical substations / networks, HV equipment, protection relay settings (Siemens, ABB-Hitachi, Alstom, etc), testing and commissioning expertise in DSOs & TSO substations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Romanian grid connection process, ANRE orders 51/2019, 233/2019, 208/2018,59/2013 , national regulations and standards related to transmission and distribution networks and thorough understanding of the Romanian National Electricity Rules.
  • Knowledge of E-Plan, AutoCAD(or equivalent) and MS Office package.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
